Frequently Asked Questions Searching

How are the criminal results returned?

Criminal records are initially run using the chosen subject’s name and DOB. If the subject you are searching for doesn't exist within the criminal record search under those parameters, the system will still return results for multiple criminals with similar first names, last names, or other characteristics.

Criminal records only exist for a small percentage of the population, so the user is paying for the ability to search this database; cost is incurred whether or not a record exists. Criminal searches are not refundable because of the research required to determine whether a criminal record is existent.
